Box Springs or Wooden slats.

European's do not use box springs, the beds have a mattress/box spring combination. After 40+ years of sleeping on a box spring, my back has officially rejected the Euro Mattress. In distress, I tried to make arrangements for the box spring, but found the sharp pain of $2000euro to the wallet greater than the pain of that nagging dull lower back. A compromise was found with a thicker European mattress from IKEA. Yes, IKEA sells something without screws! ( I think I've developed a nervous twitch in my elbow brought on by the mere sound of IKEA.) Back to the mattress. So far, the body has not rejected this transplant. Medicine may be helping. We shall see....
